Who you are agreeing with
ReadLens is published by TECHNINN SOLUTIONS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş., İnkılap Mah. Sokullu Cad. No:5 Ümraniye / İstanbul, Türkiye ("we"). By installing or using ReadLens you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What ReadLens is, and is not
ReadLens magnifies what your camera sees and reads printed text aloud using recognition and speech built into your phone. It is a reading aid.
It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it can misread text. Do not rely on it alone for medication doses, legal documents, financial decisions or anything where a wrong word could hurt you. Check anything important another way.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use ReadLens on devices you own or control, under the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to you. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or distribute the app, or use it to build a competing product.
Free and Pro
- The magnifier and up to five reads aloud per day are free, with no time limit.
- ReadLens Pro is a one-time purchase that removes the daily limit and unlocks continuous reading and Read on launch.
- Pro is tied to your Apple ID or Google account and can be restored on any device that uses it. Family Sharing on iOS applies where Apple offers it.
Prices are shown in the store before you buy and include applicable taxes. Apple or Google bills you; we never see your payment details. We may change the price of Pro for future buyers; a purchase you have already made is not affected.
Refunds
Refunds are decided by Apple or Google under their rules. The steps are on the Support page. If a store refuses a refund and you think that is unfair, write to us and we will look into it.
Your content
Everything ReadLens captures or produces stays on your device and belongs to you. We do not receive it, and we claim no rights over it. Do not use ReadLens to read material you are not allowed to access.
Changes to the app
We may change, improve or discontinue features, and may stop supporting older operating systems, with notice in the app where practical. If we ever remove something Pro paid for, we will offer an equivalent.
Warranty and liability
ReadLens is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a misreading. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded, including the rights of consumers in the EU, the UK and Türkiye.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and disputes go to the courts of İstanbul, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence.
